August Bank Holiday Weekend 2003

What a
fantastic family weekend we have for you! You can
search here on this rather special venue on any
single day but why not treat yourself and book a
weekend ticket, as camping is free!
The deserted medieval village of Creslow produced
sceats and hammered coins on a club dig on a 70-acre
field near the DMV. Stacks of Roman coins showed, as
did large amounts of scattered Samian and grey ware
pottery! Over 2000-acres of un-searched land
should have been ploughed and rolled ready for you
on and around this exciting venue!
Enjoy the hog roast and beer tent followed by music
and laughs with our top DJ and dancing till late on
Saturday.
We have a live band booked for Sunday night, top
quality food outlets and excellent toilets and
washing facilities.
Trade stalls, dealers and finds displays in a huge
marquee, plus a token dig, gold rush, many prizes,
bouncy castle and search area for kids and
more…
A three-day ticket is £35. Single day tickets are
£20 for Saturday, £20 for Sunday and Monday is £15.
Tickets will NOT be sold on the day but must be
pre-booked.

TIMECREW RALLY AT
CREWKERNE SOMERSET
SUN 31st AUGUST 2003
Hi all after a meeting with the farmer on sunday we
are pleased to say that a rally will be held on the
31st of August about a mile east of Crewkerne all
welcome.
This is a charity event in aid of the South Somerset
Scouts they want to send a party of scouts on a camp
to Poland (best place for them)
Land over 100 acres got loads of hits all round this
site on the archi data base 2 coin hoards within a
mile.
Camping for Sat night £5 per unit pay on site. Site
open from 1pm with free detecting area .
Sat night Bar with real ale, bar-b-Q, skittle ally
come and have some fun meet up with old & new
pals. Full English breakfast will be available on
Sunday morning, food and drink on site all day
